Coach Akonnor has challenged his players to be more disciplined and follow instructions
Akonnor said his players must translate what they practise in training onto the pitch if they are to produce a positive result against Pyramid FC.
The Ghanaian coach was particularly unhappy with Gor’s midfield, which he felt was outplayed by the Egyptian side.
Gor Mahia coach Charles Akonnor has challenged his players to be more disciplined and follow his instructions if they are to overturn a two-goal deficit against Pyramids FC of Egypt in Sunday’s CAF Champions League first qualifying round second leg.
The match will be held at Cairo’s 30 June Stadium from 8pm, with the Kenyan champions trailing 2-0.
