  • The left-handed Makuto, who was part of Malkia Strikers team that finished 19th at the World Championships in October, will spend a season at the-Dubai based side after joining them from local giants Kenya Pipeline
  • The 29-year-old is confident of leaving a mark at Al Wasl in what is her first professional stint abroad
  • Violet, who comes from a volleyball family, will follow in the footsteps of her elder sisters Asha and Evelyne who played professional volleyball after shining on the local scene for Pipeline and Prisons respectively

Kenyan international Violet Makuto has completed her move to United Arab Emirates (UAE) side Al Wasl.
