Chelsea have signed Liam Rosenior from French club Racing Strasbourg as their new head coach on a contract until 2032, the Premier League club said on Tuesday.

Rosenior, who led Strasbourg to European qualification in his first season, replaces Enzo Maresca who left the club on New Year's day.

Earlier on Tuesday, Rosenior said he had reached an agreement with Chelsea to become their next manager, adding that he would take his assistants Kalifa Cisse and Justin Walker with him to the Premier League club.

The 41-year-old, who joined Ligue 1 side Racing Strasbourg in 2024, said his time at the club had been the most rewarding period of his career after spells at Derby County and Hull City.
