Green Commandos clinched the title with a hard-fought 3-2 win over St Mary’s School Yala.
Kakamega and St Mary’s Yala will represent Kenya at the East Africa Games.
In boys’ sevens rugby, Butula Boys won the national title for the first time, while Agoro Sare and Ikutha Girls claimed maiden titles in boys’ and girls’ basketball 3x3 respectively.
New champions were crowned as the 2026 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Term Two National Games concluded yesterday at M-Pesa Foundation Academy in Thika.
St Joseph’s Girls High School from Rift Valley won a maiden girls’ national football title, while fellow Rift Valley side, Andersen Senior School, and Chemasisi Boys High School from Western region won girls’ netball and boys’ volleyball titles respectively for the first time.
