Jamaican gospel artistes to headline Safaricom Groove Party

Gospel music fans will be in for a big treat at this year’s Safaricom Groove Party, with international reggae artistes Kristine Alicia and Omari set to headline the biggest gospel concert of the year in Kenya.

The Jamaican gospel stars have accrued a huge Kenyan following, thanks to hits like Omari’s 'Jehovah Guide Me', 'God a Guide', 'Heart and Soul' and Kristine Alicia’s 'Around and Around', with Kenya’s Alemba. Others are 'Rescue and Your Lady'.

The concert, which will take place on December 31 at the Safaricom Stadium, Kasarani, also features a long impressive lineup of gospel deejays and artistes from Kenya, including DJ Mo, DJ Sadic, DJ Krowbar, renowned musicians Pitson, Evelyn Wanjiru, Eunice Njeri, Loise Kim, Mercy Masika, Sarah K., Gloria Muliro, Ben Githae, Ruth Matete and Amos & Josh.
