ODM keen on entering political arrangements where it is guaranteed fair representation, its leaders say.
ODM officials says the party would raise its demands even further as it becomes increasingly evident that ODM will play a major role in Ruto’s re-election bid.
The remarks come after more than 25 MPs from Western Kenya endorsed CS Oparanya for the Deputy President’s position.
ODM has issued a raft of non-negotiable demands to President William Ruto, staking a claim to at least half of the government, including the Deputy President’s position, should he secure a second term.
The party’s chairperson Gladys Wanga and deputy party leader, Kisii Governor Simba Arati, said on Tuesday that the party would raise its demands even further as it becomes increasingly evident that ODM will play a major role in President Ruto’s re-election bid.
