Kithuka Kimunyi who is accused of killing a GSU officer with an arrow at State House gate along Dennis Prit Road, is held at Kilimani Police Station on October 13, 2025.
Recalling the incident, GSU officer Kelvin Nyabuto said the attacker appeared to be targeting security officers at the gate.
According to the officer, the attacker shot two arrows in quick succession with the first one missing the target.
The hearing of a case in which a man is charged with killing a General Service Unit (GSU) officer at State House Nairobi, in October last year started on Monday before the High Court in Kibera.
Two witnesses testified of how they saw Kithuka Kimunyi Musyimi, who has been charged with the murder of Ramadhan Khamis Matamka, approaching Gate D before shooting the officer with an arrow.
